Coffee has always been more than a beverage to me — it has always been a catalyst for connection. Long before Overflow Coffee became a business, it was a vision: to create a place where exceptional coffee, genuine hospitality, and meaningful relationships come together.
Since 2022, I've dedicated my career to learning every aspect of the coffee industry. From opening cafés before sunrise, to managing teams, developing menus, building operational systems, and serving thousands of customers, each experience has reinforced one belief: people may come for coffee, but they return because of how they're made to feel.
Those years shaped not only my operational experience but also my philosophy of hospitality. I believe excellence is found in countless small decisions, and that the most meaningful businesses are built around people rather than products.
Overflow Coffee is the culmination of that journey. Located in the heart of Multnomah Village, Overflow exists to create moments and spaces that fill people beyond what's in their cup. Our hope is to become a place woven into the rhythm of everyday life — a neighborhood gathering place where families, students, entrepreneurs, and friends feel welcomed, known, and inspired to return again and again.
More than building a successful coffee shop, my vision is to build a business that serves its community with excellence, creates meaningful employment, and leaves every guest a little more full than when they arrived.
